Green Goddess

Nope. Not the delicious salad dressing, ya silly. More what I was feeling like in this long sleeved maxi from Knot Sisters.
Alas, if only I could have this dress in a million variations.
It’s long and it’s flowy in the best of ways. It also has as a great plunging neckline (perfect for my fellow IBTC members), and is basically the comfiest thing I’ve had draped across my bod.

The leather goods of VOZ Collective | Yellow Wallpaper HM

Before I get into how magical this shoot was, let me tell you that this guy right here, Mark, my other half, reeeeeally isn’t the biggest fan of being photographed. He’s a cinematographer and spends most of his time around cameras or reading about cameras or looking at pictures of cameras or talking about cameras, but I assure you he will never be the first person to volunteer to be in front of one. That being said, he was a bonafide gangster for this shoot with Voz Collective x Yellow Wallpaper HM.

Hey, what’s up? | Fall Boho with Livin’ Freely and RICA Boutique

Well. It’s been like a year since I’ve paid attention to this. I really regret that.
So much has happened over the past several months. A handful of films, some great trips, and the little baby plunge into my fledgling, part-time modeling career. I’ve been so fortunate to have been a part of oodles of really great shoots with super talented creatives and some very cool brands. I don’t often share more than one or two shots from any given shoot on social media, and that’s a shame. A damn shame, I tell you! So, in efforts to bring myself up to speed, I’ll be sharing a lot of my past images along with more recent ones. This is the first set from a lookbook shot a week or two ago for Livin’ Freely | Rica Boutique, and is part of a larger Glamping inspired lookbook by the cool kids over at B.Rose. I truly loved shooting this.

So without further ado, here are some words about it all.

Gray Scale

Not too long ago I received this Spiked Punch Steve Madden set from Cejon Accessories. It’s a three piece deal – hat, gloves, and snood (not pictured) –  and I’d like to go on record and say that now that it’s begun dropping into the teens (kill me), I’ve loved having such a thick, soft set to keep me warm and bundled. Black jeans, a chunky silver necklace, and a lightly structured pea coat balance out the casual coziness of this dreamy, lounge-all-day trapeze thermal. Hunter inspired wellies finish it all off functionally.

he loves me, he loves me not – floral for weather that can’t make up its mind

The San Diego weather has been very bipolar. I find it hard to really plan an outfit in SD lately, so I always try to balance something light with a warmer piece, since it’s so “hot&cold”. It was cloudy & cold when I went to work, so I paired some distressed light jeans with a crop tank, Chunky Forest green sweater(one of my fave colors, especially for fall) & added some wedges to dress it up a little bit. I was super stoked when it got sunny so I could wear my new fave 5 panel hat from Vans- “He Loves me, He Loves me Not” with cute Daisies all over! I ventured to the Pumpkin Patch in hopes of finding a tiny bb pumpkin (I’m very particular, so no luck lol).
